Sips and Dips for Cinco de Mayo on May 5th from 6:00PM – 8:00PM
Arrange a babysitter and hit up the pool after work for an adults-only pool party featuring music, margaritas, and munchies!
Room 600 Cinco de Derby on May 6th from 6:00PM – 9:30PM
The Room 600 Group invites you to experience a melding of Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby at an event sure to create community and connection. Serving carefully curated and handcrafted libations of the hour & food pairings in two separate acts. Act one allows you to meet and mingle with your neighbors while enjoying a drink and light music. Act two serves a sweet treat along with a more potent beverage and deeper music.

Mother’s Day Tea with Humming Cup Premium Tea on May 7th from 10:00am – 12:00PM
Your neighbor, Jazeera of Humming Cup Premium tea, requests the honor of your presence at a Mother’s Day Tea! Dress in your high tea best and bring your daughters, mothers, grandmothers, or special females to our fun tea party event!
You will enjoy great company and delicious tea party food with classic finger sandwiches and desserts. Space is limited so get your tickets early. Located in the Toscana Room and $30 per person!
Travisso Trekkers After Work Hike on Upper Venezia Trail on May 10th at 6:00PM
The sun is setting later and the spring weather has been amazing! Enjoy a hike on the upper Venezia View Trail while you get to know your community. This will be roughly 3 miles of walking and will take about 1.5 hours. Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes with grippy soles, and bring water. Sunscreen is encouraged as well! The hike is easy to moderate, with some steps and climbing (not stroller friendly). There will be an option to cut the hike shorter to 2 miles if you are not up for a full 3 miles.
Arrive by 6 p.m. at the Palazzo Parking Lot and be ready to hike by 6:15 p.m. sharp!
Travisso Fest

After two years, it’s finally time to get the whole community back together to celebrate our neighbors at Travisso Fest! Join us for live music, carnival rides, food trucks, a petting zoo, and tons of fun at the Palazzo!
Throwback Musical Trivia Potluck on May 20th from 7:00PM – 9:00PM
Test your knowledge of musical trivia with a fun throwback potluck located in the Toscana room! Theme out as hard as you want in your favorite decade or musician-inspired outfit or just come as you are! Space is limited so make sure to sign up!
New Homeowner Orientation on May 24th from 6:00PM – 7:00PM
Have you moved to Travisso in the last few months? Never lived in an HOA community before? Wondering what the Palazzo clubhouse is like, or have questions about the community? We have an event for you! Join us for an opportunity to meet the management, get a quick rundown of Travisso, and ask questions! Can’t make it? A modified version of the orientation lives on our website, also! We want residents to have a chance to get all of the information they need without distractions, so be sure to book a sitter for the kids now. Space is limited, please sign up!
Summer Foam-o-Party on May 28th from 9:00AM – 11:00AM
School’s out and we want to start your summer off with a splash so you don’t get FOMO (fear of missing out) by joining us for a FOAM-O party! Get crazy dancing through the foam cannon, cool down with water tag, enjoy a cold treat, and listen to fun music with your friends and neighbors. Join us for this brand new May event at Travisso!

Culinary EXP Food Truck May 10th, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
By expanding the culinary boundaries of a typical food truck and prioritizing flavor and quality above all else, Culinary EXP creates a mouthwatering experience that is as delicious as it is nourishing. Offerings range from signature dishes like slow-cooked braised beef, original artisan sandwiches, herb-baked salmon, as well as innovative seasonal breakfast combinations.
Pokemon Go Party May 13th, 5:00PM – 6:00PM
Calling all residents, young and young at heart! Charge your phone, load up Pokemon Go (download the free app and create an account before you arrive!), and join us for an hour of virtual monster hunting around the Palazzo. We will battle to see who can hold a gym for their team, participate in group raids working collaboratively to overcome mythic beasts, catch our own Pocket Monsters, beat Team Rocket grunts, and send gifts to new friends to level up. Parents, please plan to accompany any children 12 and under. Use your best judgment if sending kids over 12 by themselves.
Cars & Community May 14th, 9:00AM – 11:00AM
Meet your neighbors who are fellow car enthusiasts at this casual car meet-up! This event is free and open to all Travisso residents. Just grab your coffee and drive on down to the Palazzo and partake in a morning of automotive enjoyment. If you know of a local business or entity that would like to become a community partner for this monthly event, please let Adrian know!

Savory Farmer’s Market Produce Box Subscription
Savory Farmers Market at Travisso is coming up on its two-year anniversary and they have big news. SFM has partnered with one of their favorite local farmers, Bonnet Farms from Georgetown, to offer high-quality produce subscription boxes at affordable prices! If you’d like to begin getting a regular supply of local, naturally grown produce, the process is simple.
1) Go to www.savoryfarmersmarket.com/store to subscribe for either one box per month or two boxes per month.
2) Pick up your produce subscription box at the Farmers Market on the schedule you choose; 1st Wednesdays or 3rd Wednesdays for a once per month box, or 1st and 3rd Wednesdays for the twice per month box.
It’s super simple. SFM will eventually make this available in all the communities they serve, but for the time being this opportunity is exclusively available for customers of the market at Travisso! For more details and product pictures, be sure to check out the website!
Field Maintenance Update
The field will be out of commission until at least May 1st to help the grass germinate and grow into the bare areas. Please plan to stay off of the field and make other arrangements for all group or individual field use during this time.
Palazzo Private Event Rentals
Did you know we offer residents the opportunity to rent out the indoor Toscana room or the outdoor, open-air Pavilion for private events on Friday evenings and weekends? We do! Our events calendar is open for three months at a time, and on May 1st we will open up the July calendar. The Toscana room can host up to 50 people, and the Pavilion can host up to 150 people. A 6-hour rental of either space is available for $150 with a refundable $300 deposit. Residents must be in good standing with their association dues to reserve a rental time.
