Fri-Yay Crafts: Play Dough Soap with Two Island Girls

Brisket 101 with BBQ Fiends

Cost: $23 per person
BBQ Fiends will be teaching an exclusive Brisket smoking class for us! The class will cover the entire brisket process from start to finish. This process includes:
- Beef grades
- Trimming & seasoning
- Times & temps
- Wrapping process
- Slicing & serving
BBQ Fiends will have their 250 Gallon Offset Smoker on-site and will be showing various stages of the brisket throughout the cooking process. The class will be open to questions at any time. Every attendee will be provided with a 1/4 lb of brisket, pickles, onions, and bread at the end of class, so come hungry, ready to learn, and have fun!
They will sell extras to attendees and community residents from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
Hot August Nights Car Show

Get ready for our second annual Travisso car show! This year we have category sponsors offering prizes for the top car in each category and of course, the return of our piston trophies for our winners! We have so much in store for you, including Culinary EXP food truck serving up your favorite bites for purchase, free snow cones, music, a hands-on RC drift car demo thanks to Ground Zero Hobbies, and beer for purchase from the Hoppy Hydrant firetruck. It’s going to be a great evening that brings out the car enthusiast in us all!
