Looking for a place to catch the fireworks this Independence Day? Several local celebrations are back! Check out the Fourth of July events happening this weekend near Travisso.
Leander
Leander Liberty Fest kicks off at 2 p.m. at Lakewood Park. The annual Fourth of July event offers live music, food, family activities, and a firework show to end the night. Entry to the park is free; however, there is limited parking and limited tickets so reserve yours today. Learn more or get tickets here.
Lake Travis
Starting July 2, Lake Travis will host multiple fireworks shows at several locations along its shores. This includes Starnes Island, City of Lakeway, Bar K Park, and more. You can see the entire lineup of events around Lake Travis here.
Georgetown
This year Georgetown’s annual Fourth of July celebration will only include fireworks. The show is free at San Gabriel Park. The show will start at approximately 9:15 p.m.
Cedar Park
Cedar Park’s Fourth of July event is back! There won’t be a parade this year, but there will be food trucks, a movie in the park, and fireworks. So come out to Milburn Park, beginning at 5 p.m. The firework show starts at 9:15 p.m. with ‘The Sandlot’ to play on the big screen in the park afterward.
Round Rock
On July 3, head out to Round Rock for the annual Sertoma Independence Day Parade and Frontier Days celebration. The parade begins at 8:30 a.m. at Mays Crossing and will travel along Mays Street to U.S. 79. See giant inflatable balloons, patriotic floats, and community group performances along the way. Frontier Days kicks off at Old Settlers Park with carnival rides, music, Swifty Swine Racing Pigs, and more in the afternoon. The night will end with fireworks and a concert by Uptown Drive.
Pflugerville
Fourth of July events continue with The annual Red, White, & BOOM Festival at Typhoon Texas Waterpark in Pflugerville from July 2-4. Bee Cave
Visit Bee Cave’s Hill Country Galleria to celebrate the Fourth of July, beginning at 4 p.m. Admission is free. There will be live music, vendors, and activities for the whole family. Fireworks start at dusk.
Austin
The annual H-E-B Austin Symphony concert and firework show is back for 2021. Head down to Vic Mathias Shores at 8 p.m. for a free firework display over the city’s skyline as the Austin Symphony Orchestra plays patriotic classics.
