Featured August Events at Travisso
Foam Party
We kicked off the month with a splash at our all-ages foam party on the Palazzo Event Field! Families came ready with bathing suits and goggles to dive into the bubbly fun, while popsicles kept everyone cool under the Texas sun. It’s the kind of laughter-filled morning that turns neighbors into friends and summer into something truly special.
Travisso Goes To the Round Rock Express
Nothing says summer like baseball, and this month Travisso families headed to Dell Diamond for a Round Rock Express game. With discounted tickets, Sunday kids’ activities, and plenty of team spirit, this community outing was a home run.
Children's Business Fair
The community came together for the Travisso Children’s Business Fair—an inspiring afternoon at The Forum where our youngest residents showcased their creativity and business smarts. Featuring a range of items like handmade crafts and innovative services, each booth was a testament to the imagination and drive of these young entrepreneurs.
Fri-Yay Crafts: Diamond Art
Our final Fri-Yay Craft of the summer brought teens and older kids together for a creative hour of diamond art. This relaxing and sparkly activity was a great way to wind down the season and celebrate the end of summer break before the school year kicked off.
First Day of School Photos & Breakfast
On the first day back to school, families gathered on the Palazzo lawn to snap photos, enjoy donuts and juice, and share a moment of celebration. With a fun photo backdrop and professional photography from Texas Touch Photography, we helped mark the milestone in style… and with full hearts and full bellies.
"We had such an exciting month in August! One of the highlights was hosting our very first Children’s Business Market, where more than 30 booths were run entirely by young entrepreneurs from our community. This was truly one of my favorite events we’ve ever done—it was inspiring to see the kids’ creativity, the hard work they put into their businesses, and the pride they felt sharing their ideas. To help prepare them, we even hosted a special business etiquette class beforehand, covering everything from taking payments to food safety and customer service. The market was such a huge success that residents immediately started asking when the next one would be, and I’m thrilled to share we’ll be bringing it back in November!"
Live Music at the Palazzo feat. Pierre & the Night Cats
The Pavilion came alive with the sounds of blues and community during our live music night featuring Pierre & the Night Cats. Residents gathered to enjoy an evening of music, food, and good company. With Crepe Crazy on hand serving up delicious eats, it was the perfect August night to relax, dance, and savor the season.
