Summer in the Texas Hill Country is best spent surrounded by beautiful views, friendly neighbors, and a calendar packed with events—and that’s exactly what July looked like at Travisso. Whether it was catching live music or lending a helping hand in the community, our residents made the most of every sunny moment. If you’re considering calling Travisso home, here’s a peek at what July had in store.
Featured July Events at Travisso
Fri-Yay Summer Craft
Rock painting, sunshine, and creativity were the perfect combination for our summer craft day on The Forum Deck. Kids and parents alike enjoyed tapping into their imagination while spending quality time outdoors. It’s just one of the many casual ways Travisso families connect, plus get a little crafty together!
Music on the Pavilion with Stephen K. Morris
The Stephen K. Morris Duo brought their signature Texas Americana style to our Pavilion stage for a lively summer performance. With Lobster Dogs food truck serving up delicious bites and neighbors gathered to enjoy good music and great company, it was another reminder that some of the best entertainment happens right in your own backyard.
Beer and Small Bites with H-E-B
What’s better than cold beer on a warm night? Sampling German-style brews from Texas-based breweries, courtesy of the H-E-B Beer and Wine Department! Guests enjoyed light bites and expert guidance from H-E-B beer managers. It was a casual, tasty way to explore new flavors and enjoy a fun evening with fellow residents.
Blood Drive & Flood Relief Collection
Our community showed its heart this month by stepping up to support important causes. We hosted a blood drive in partnership with We Are Blood and opened our doors—and hearts—to support Texas flood victims. Donations of bottled water, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies poured in for Hill Country Community Ministries. At Travisso, neighbors help neighbors, whether they live next door or across the state.
Fitness at Travisso
Living well is a way of life at Travisso—and that includes staying active. This month, residents had plenty of ways to work up a sweat or find their zen. From high-energy HIIT and Zumba classes (soon moving to our brand-new Forum) to peaceful Vinyasa yoga in our indoor-outdoor space, there’s something for every fitness level.
And that’s not all—Shine Pilates, Camp Gladiator, and even traditional Japanese karate classes through Austin Shotokan Karate Academy are helping residents meet their health and wellness goals.
