From festive friendsgiving feasts to cozy fall events and moments of giving back, our residents embraced every opportunity to connect and enjoy the season. Here’s a glimpse into life at Travisso in November.
Featured November Events at Travisso
Celebration of Lights: Diwali Festival
Travisso was overflowing with joy and color as residents came together for our vibrant Celebration of Lights, honoring the spirit and traditions of Diwali. The evening shimmered with over 30 resident performances, each one showcasing music, dance, and culture, alongside delicious food vendors, curated shopping, and festive family fun. The Palazzo came alive with laughter, light, and community pride, making it one of the most memorable events of the month.
Travisso Weekend Hike
Residents laced up their hiking boots for a refreshing weekend hike, taking advantage of the cool November air and Travisso’s beautiful nature trails. This route followed the scenic path from The Forum to Palmero Pond, offering peaceful views and a perfect dose of outdoor adventure. Families and neighbors gathered at The Forum before setting off together, creating a relaxed and friendly start to the afternoon. The hike offered a chance to unwind, connect with nature, and enjoy good company along the way. It was the perfect way to slow down, take in the season, and make the most of a fall day outdoors.
Charcuterie Class by H.E.B.
We hosted a hands-on charcuterie class led by H.E.B., giving residents the chance to get creative (and a little fancy) as they built their own custom boards. From arranging cheeses and cured meats to adding colorful fruits and garnishes, everyone had a blast learning tips and tricks for the perfect spread. It was a delicious, social, and fun-filled evening for all who attended.
Travisso Fall Children’s Business Fair
Our community came together for an inspiring Young Entrepreneur Fair, where creative kids turned their ideas into real, buzzing businesses ranging from babysitting, baking, and even 3D printing. The Palazzo lawn transformed into a mini marketplace filled with handmade goods, tasty treats, clever services, and plenty of entrepreneurial spirit. From colorful craft displays to confident young salespeople pitching their products, the talent and creativity were on full display. The event offered a fun and supportive space for young minds to shine. Families stopped by to shop, encourage the participants, and celebrate the hard work behind each budding business. It was a day filled with creativity, community pride, and inspiring moments that reminded us just how bright the future looks.
"November was such a fun month here at Travisso. One of my favorite moments was our second Children’s Business Market. Seeing the kids running their own little businesses was great! You can feel how proud they were, and how much the community loved showing up to support them."

Travisso Season of Giving Food Drive
November kicked off with our Season of Giving Food Drive, a heartfelt community effort supporting the Hill Country Community Ministries food pantry right here in Leander. In the spirit of giving, residents came together to make a meaningful impact. Travisso collected 584 lbs. of goods for families in need! The drive served as a beautiful reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference, especially during the holiday season.
Blue Santa Toy Drive
The season of giving continued with our Blue Santa Toy Drive, a cherished annual tradition supporting the Leander Police Department and the Hill Country Christmas Bureau. Neighbors were encouraged to bring donations, each contribution helping ensure that every child in our area experiences a brighter, more joyful holiday season. The drive once again highlighted Travisso’s generous spirit and the community’s commitment to giving back when it matters most.
"This fall, we watched our community show up for one another and for families in need. With every bag and box donated, our residents helped collect 584 pounds of food, a reminder that when people care, a neighborhood becomes something greater."
