Twice a month, Leander community members can talk with local growers while shopping for hand-crafted goods, small-batch products, and locally raised crops and meats during the Savory Farmer’s Market at Travisso.
For National Farmer’s Day, celebrated each October 12th, Travisso takes you behind the scenes of the vendors you can see at the market to honor the hardworking farmers throughout America’s history. National Famer’s Day falls in mid-October because that is traditionally the last day of the harvest season.
Hear from Nathanael Ferguson, owner of Savory Market. Also, we want to introduce you to John Pantalon, owner of Amber Oaks Ranch, the newest vendor to join the Savory Market!
