ATX Mobile Bike Repair Tune-Up Day
Wednesday, December 6th
8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Palazzo Parking Lot
$75 Tune-ups ($95 value!) include brake and gear adjustments, lubrication, rim straightening/truing, minor drivetrain cleaning, front and rear shock adjustments, air check, and a safety check. Tune-ups take about an hour to complete. If any extra parts are needed, such as bike tubes or cables, those will be an additional charge. Family special – tune-up of an adult bicycle gets you 2 free kid bikes (20″ or less) as well!
Residents may drop off in the morning and then come back and pick them up when the tune-up is complete. Joe will usually text when the bike(s) are ready. They accept cash, credit cards, and Venmo for the payment.
Any residents interested in signing up can go to the ATX Mobile Bike Repair Website and, under the Service Request tab, enter their information, including name, email, and phone number. For address, please mention Travisso Community Day. Under the Service Request space, include how many bikes and what kind of bikes, if possible, and any issues they have. That info lets the tech know how many bikes to expect and the parts and sizes that may be needed for that day.
Cozy Candle-Making Class with Two Island Girls

It’s chilly, and making candles is the best way to get cozy! Join Shakera with Two Island Girls for a winter candle-making class that will get you ready for the holiday season. Participants will receive everything they need to make a candle, including picking from three delicious seasonal-inspired scents. Tasty fall treats will be provided.
Holiday Golf Cart & Vehicle Parade

This year, we welcome back the Travisso holiday parade! If you would like to join us, please use the sign-up in our newsletter. All golf carts and vehicles must arrive decorated to line up by 11:15 AM in the Palazzo parking lot.

Join us for a jolly good time as we celebrate the season at our annual holiday event!
You can look forward to taking photos with Santa, visiting with the Grinch & Cindy Lou Who, playing in the winter wonderland created by the Frosty the Snowman Snow Machine, writing a letter for Santa, having a cute design created by our face painting elf, enjoying a craft and sensory activity sponsored by our community partner, Guidepost Montessori Cypress Creek, or enjoy frozen hot chocolate with our community partner, CertaPro Painters! Don’t forget to shop for handmade gifts at the resident artisan craft market! Adults, will you need something extra to look forward to? Artisan Craft Market at Holidays In The Hills

Are you crafty, love to bake, or have a handmade craft business? Want to share your items or talents with the community? Join us at our artisan craft market at the Holidays in the Hills event! Bring a table, your items for sale, and make friends with your fellow creatives and shoppers alike! Spots are limited; please use the newsletter to sign up to sell at the market. You must provide your own table (limit 1 per shop) that must be less than six feet long.
Bright Lights Contest

Are you a real National Lampoon and think more is better regarding your holiday light display, or do you prefer to keep things classy and simple? Are you a white-light aficionado, or is your home lit up in vivid color?
It’s time to enter your holiday light display in the Bright Lights Contest to see if you can snag yourself a coveted winner yard sign! Use the newsletter to sign up your home for the contest. Please have your lights finished and on by 6 PM on Thursday, December 21st.
