As the Texas Hill Country warmed up with spring sunshine, March at Travisso brought with it a fresh burst of energy and unforgettable memories. March was the perfect showcase of what life at Travisso is all about—family fun, meaningful connections, and experiences that make every day feel like home.
Let’s take a look at the highlights from a month filled with celebration, creativity, and community spirit.
Featured March Events at Travisso
Mardi Gras Celebration
We kicked off the month in true festive fashion—Mardi Gras style! The Palazzo was decked out with colorful beads and sweet slices of King Cake, setting the tone for a joyful gathering. Residents stopped by to grab a treat, snag a necklace, and share in the spirit of “laissez les bons temps rouler” with their neighbors.
80s Music Bingo
Big hair, bold beats, and bingo? Yes, please! Our 21+ crowd rolled it back to the raddest decade with an electrifying night of 80s Music Bingo. A live DJ kept the dance hits coming while neighbors tested their musical knowledge for prizes—and bragging rights. Add a beer and wine bar, snacks, and plenty of singalongs, and you’ve got one unforgettable night.
International Women's Day with Desi Ladies
Travisso proudly celebrated International Women’s Day with the Desi Ladies Group, honoring the achievements and stories of women across generations. Residents brought their teens to get inspired by a panel of successful industry professionals, and enjoyed a vibrant marketplace of clothing, jewelry, and handcrafted items. It was a day of empowerment, connection, and celebration of the incredible women who make our community thrive.
Spring Break at Travisso
This year’s Spring Break was packed with fun for all ages, with activities designed to bring neighbors together and make lasting memories.
Puppy Pageant Hosted by Stroll Magazine
Our four-legged residents stole the spotlight in a cuteness-overload competition. From “Best Dressed” to “Smartest Pup,” trophies were awarded, tails were wagging, and memories were made at this beloved annual event.
Teen Tuesday
Teens got their own night to shine with ping pong, cornhole, board games, music, and (of course) pizza. It was a laid-back evening for hanging out, laughing, and building friendships.
Magic Show
Kids (and adults!) were wowed by sleight-of-hand tricks, illusions, and a bit of comedy.
Crepe Crazy Food Truck
Because no spring break is complete without a little indulgence! Residents lined up for sweet and savory treats from Crepe Crazy, giving everyone a break from cooking and a whole lot of deliciousness.
Spring Break Art Day
Resident and art specialist Julie Mattox led an engaging hands-on session inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night. Participants learned, created, and went home with their very own masterpiece—a perfect blend of fun and creativity.
Wild Thursday
Think field day meets family fun—giant bubbles, soccer darts, a tri-sport challenge, and classic games kept the energy high and smiles wide. Families packed picnics and spent the day playing and relaxing together in the sunshine.
Stars & S'mores
What better way to wind down spring break than stargazing? With the help of Astronomer Eddie and his telescope, residents explored the night sky. Toasty s’mores made it even sweeter as families gathered under the stars.
Donut Decorating
To wrap up spring break, we threw a party where frosting and sprinkles stole the show. Kids decorated donuts and shared laughs, ending the week on the most delicious note possible.
